I’m searching for 40 women over the age of 40 who would like to empower themselves through a portrait session. I just turned 56 this year and I want to start a conversation around the beauty of aging and change the way we see and feel about ourselves.
We are smart, sensual, and vibrant beings. I want to showcase your beauty, share your stories and change the way you feel in your own skin.

How much does it cost?
Special promotional pricing $399 (total value of $850)
What does it include?
- A pre-session consultation (either via Zoom or in person) to design a session just for you, to know each other and discuss how you'd like to be photographed, what outfits you would like to wear, etc.
- Camera ready custom hair-styling and makeup on the day of the photoshoot
- Full access to studio wardrobe
- Fully guided photoshoot that will be fun!
- A reveal and ordering session where you can see all your beautiful photographs and choose a complimentary print (matted print and high res digital file).
- $150 credit towards any additional print package if you choose to purchase more. Packages start at $950.
- Membership in the Facebook 40 Over 40 VIP Group
As Part of Showcasing the Project
- You will be asked to share your thoughts about being a woman over 40. This may include video interview or answering a written questionnaire.
- Your interview may be shared on my website and on social media. Others will enjoy and benefit from your story about the amazing woman that you are!!
- You will be asked to sign a model release for your images to be used for promotional purposes. Other conditions may apply.
- This is your time to be seen and heard!
Why over 40, why me and why now?
I took my portrait photography business full-time after turning 53. Part of my journey to make this leap was reading stories of other women and their journey. And during my portrait and head-shot sessions, I've really enjoyed hearing the stories of my clients. So I want to create something showcasing other women as they are entering or are into the second half of their lives. I know how empowering it can be to see yourself in photographs and I want to give this very special gift to all women to enjoy.
Who can take part in the project?
I would love to photograph a wide variety of women 40 and over. Let's create a tapestry of stunning images of women of different shapes and sizes; women with different tastes, from different backgrounds, and with different views of life.
What will be your takeaway?
It will be fun, fulfilling and transformational. The experience is an exciting, pampering, indulgent adventure custom tailored and focused on YOU. Think about how you want to be captured. What does a legacy image look like for you? My passion is to take the every-day woman and give her an unforgettable magazine-style photoshoot experience.

Pre-SessionConsultation
Prior to your photo session, we'll discuss all the details involved with a session including wardrobe, hair & makeup, what to bring, how to prepare and everything else you’ll need to know about your special day!
Want to try some dresses, hats, or accessories from my studio wardrobe? We'll schedule a fitting appointment for you to try items on to see what you might want to mix and match with anything you're bringing from home.

Styling
On the morning of the photo shoot, you’ll have professional hair & makeup if you desire. We’ll consult with you on how you wish to wear your hair and makeup. If you’d like to do something outside your comfort zone, we’ll be happy to give you the red carpet treatment!
If you'd prefer to do your own hair and makeup, or want your images showing your clean face, go for it!

Full Service Photoshoot
You will change 4-5 times with different styles and background options.
Don't feel photogenic? You're not alone! I’ll be directing you every step of the way so you won’t need to worry about a thing. My job is to make you feel comfortable so you enjoy the experience. I'll gently guide you through posing and help to bring out your unique personality, energy and style to show your confidence and strength.

The Reveal
You'll be in invited back to the studio to view your images 2-3 weeks after your photo shoot. You'll get to see all of your beautiful images, choose your complimentary print and purchase more if you desire.
