I'm not very photogenic, can you make me look good?
Almost all of my clients featured here on my website have said the same thing "I'm not photogenic" or "I look awful in pictures". I almost love when I hear that because I know you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see your final images. Lighting, composition, and posing can make all the difference in a photograph. Aside from selfies, most people aren't regularly in front of the camera. Throughout your session you'll be guided and encouraged. You'll never have the awkward "what do I do with my hands" moment. Making my clients comfortable so that they can enjoy this experience is always my top priority. You will feel feel comfortable, safe and have fun!

What should I wear?
This is probably the most asked question for any photographer. The answer is, whatever you feel most beautiful in! A couple of weeks before your shoot, you and I can chat about wardrobe and styling. If you want to purchase a beautiful dress or sexy lingerie then go for it! If you have prefer jeans and a tank, then yes! If you want to use items in my studio closet, it is here for taking. 

Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely! Sometimes having a friend with you for encouragement, to help you change, bring you a drink (since you are the diva for the day) can help with nerves. I'm happy for you to bring someone along with you if you choose. Rather than just have your friend support you, why not book a double session and you can cheer each other on!? For boudoir, I do not allow boyfriends/husbands/significant others in the room. This totally changes the vibe of the session. Boudoir is about you and and your empowerment!

How much editing do you do?
Another big questions. In today's word of phone filters and body morphing apps, its become common place for images to be highly edited. Depending the portrait style you're requesting (boudoir, painterly, glamour, headshots, etc) will totally dictate the type of editing I'll use. In most cases I edit with a light hand. I'll removed skin blemishes, dark circles under eyes, etc. but you will still look like you. Posing, lighting and angles do much more to create a flattering image than heavy editing. However for old world painterly styled images, much more editing is required to create this look.
 
Do you photograph men and couples?
I sure do! Men deserve legacy portraits too!! And men are much more photo savvy than they used to be and enjoy the process the same as we do. Couples photography is something I've really come to enjoy. Capturing that love, humor and connection between a couple is so beautiful to me. With couples I'll also guide you but it will be much more freestyle. I want the two of you to have that same amazing connection between the two of you that you would normally have. 
 
When will I get my photos?
In two to three weeks after your shoot you'll come back for an in-person reveal (or online meeting reveal depending on where you live and the covid situation). This is the time that you'll choose the images you want to purchase. You and I will go through all your images to find the best that you'll enjoy for years to come. We'll have a such a great time during your reveal. There is nothing like a client's reaction when they see their images for the first time!

How much does this cost?
Session fee is $350. This confirms your photo shoot appointment, professional hair and makeup if desired, wardrobe consultation, in-studio or location photoshoot and master retouching. Some women who prefer to do their own hair and makeup, or no makeup at all. But if want the complete "model for a day" moment, I've got you covered. For boudoir, don't underestimate the beauty of a natural face. These can be quite powerful images.  

Your session fee is applied to your choice of digital or print package. At your reveal session we'll create a custom package just for you. What you purchase is entirely your decision, there is no hard sell. Wall art start at $125 and packages start at $750. All major credit cards are accepted and payment plans are available.
