Special day with her Mother-In-Law | Woodstock GA Portrait Photographer

I've had the pleasure of photographing this amazing woman since she was pregnant with her first child. She's a successful business woman, amazing mother and wife to a great man. On top of all of that, she's just a beautiful person, inside and out. So when she reached out to me about photographing her and mother-in-law I was super excited. We had such a fun day.

I met Kameela and GG at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area - Paces Mill Unit. The park is lovely on it's own, but what's really great here is the Rottenwood Creek Trail the leads off from the parking lot. Kameela had walked this trail with her family so she was very familiar with it. Not too far down the trail you'll walk under the 285 underpass. And wow! It is amazing!! I found an angle that lead straight back from our trail, set up a light and got some amazing photos. Who would think a grimy interstate underpass would have such a cathedral look to it??

This photo of GG is one of my favorites from the day. She looks like such a queen standing at the entrance to her castle. Love it.

I made this tulle skirt years ago and use it so often. It's always fun to see the ways people interpret the skirt for their style. Kameela has such a fashion eye and styled the skirt in a hip, modern way. But in my romantic eye she still looked like the princess escaping the tower... ;-)

Further down the trail (quite far actually!!) is this iron bridge. It was a great location for a "model moment" for the gorgeous Kameela in tulle.

And GG absolutely working the camera. Are you believing her gorgeous skin?

Under the I-285 underpass are some graffiti that worked spoke to me about GG and Kameela. This lotus flower with LOVE was a perfect moment for GG. The Lotus flower represents spiritual enlightenment and wisdom. 'Regardless of its dirty environment and the muddy water it’s rooted in, the lotus rises above it all to bloom in beauty, facing the sun. This is symbolic of overcoming the material world and emerging from the muddy waters of suffering radiate enlightenment and wisdom.' Beautiful.

And as I said, Kameela is such a lovely woman. Just Be Kind is so her.
